POS and takings software for salons and barbershops in Ghana.
TailoredFlow is point of sale software for salons, barbershops and beauty parlours in Ghana. What you sell is mostly work rather than goods, so the till has to price a haircut as readily as it prices a tin of hair food.
What it does
Salon & barbershopMost shop software assumes everything it sells sits on a shelf and runs out. A barbershop's main product does not. A haircut has no stock, never expires and cannot be counted at the end of the month, but it is still the thing that pays the rent.
TailoredFlow handles both sides on the same ticket: the work you charge for, and the products you sell alongside it.
Charge for the work itself
Set up a haircut, a wash and set, braiding or a nail appointment as something you sell, with its own price. It carries no stock and never runs out, so it can be rung up all day without anything to restock or count.
The quantity on the line means how many times it was done, so two heads on one ticket is just a quantity of two. Discounts, tax and the day's profit all work on it exactly as they do on a product.
Products on the same ticket
Relaxers, hair food, clippers and combs are ordinary stock with a cost and a count. Sell them on the same ticket as the service and the profit on that ticket is right: the product's cost comes out of stock, the service's does not, because there was nothing to buy.
Every chair signs in as itself
Stylists and barbers get their own login and their own role. They can ring up work without seeing your takings, your costs or your reports, so you can staff the shop without handing over the books.
Paid at the chair
Take Mobile Money at the point of sale and the payment lands against the ticket rather than being reconciled from a phone afterwards. Cash, card and part-payments are all recorded the same way.
What a day was actually worth
Takings, costs and profit in one place, with the expenses you paid out that day subtracted rather than remembered. You can see which services bring in the money and which products are worth restocking.

Payments, promotional and discount SMSTake the payment, not just the order
TailoredFlow can now collect the money at checkout. The customer pays by MTN Mobile Money, Telecel Cash, AirtelTigo Money or card, the sale marks itself paid the moment it lands, and we settle it to your account. No prompt from a personal wallet, no screenshot to squint at, nothing to reconcile at closing. It is optional and off by default. See how payments work.
Sell in sub-units, at the price you set
One product can carry as many selling units as the trade needs, and each one can have its own price rather than a multiple of the smallest. Stock is always counted in the smallest unit, so buying in bulk and selling singles can never drift apart, and the unit-mix report tells you in cedis what your bulk deals actually cost you.
Promotional and discount SMS to your own customers
Message the customer list you have been building at the counter, under your own sender ID, with the exact cost shown before you send. A message to the people who came last month is what fills a quiet Tuesday. Credit is prepaid with Mobile Money, so a campaign can never quietly run up a bill. More about promotional and discount SMS.
Questions
Ask us anything else on WhatsAppCan I sell a haircut if it has no stock?
Yes. Mark it as a service and it sells at a fixed price with nothing to count or restock. The quantity means how many times it was performed, so it prices, discounts, taxes and reports like any other line on the ticket.
Can I sell products and services on the same receipt?
Yes, and that is the point. The products come out of stock and the services do not, so the profit on the ticket reflects what you actually paid for.
Does it book appointments?
Not yet. TailoredFlow handles the till, the staff and the money rather than the diary, so it suits a shop that works walk-ins and keeps its bookings on WhatsApp or in a book.
Can my barbers use it without seeing my money?
Yes. Each person signs in as themselves with a role that lets them ring up work but not open your takings, costs or reports.
Try it on your own stock
The trial is the whole product for 30 days. No card, no call required. Load your real items, sell a few things, and see whether the numbers match your shelf at closing.
TailoredFlow also covers every other kind of business we build for: the pricing, the full feature list and the rest of the questions are there.
