The best pharmacy POS and inventory software in Ghana.
TailoredFlow is point of sale and inventory software for pharmacies in Ghana. It handles the two things a shop counter system usually gets wrong for a pharmacy: stock that is bought by the carton and sold by the pill, and stock that expires.
What it does
PharmacyA pharmacy carries more distinct items than almost any other small shop, and the cost of losing track of them is higher. Expired stock is money already spent that can no longer be sold. A fast mover that runs out sends a customer to the pharmacy down the road. And the counting is genuinely hard, because a supplier sells you a carton and a customer buys four tablets.
TailoredFlow is built around those two problems rather than bolted on to a general retail till.
Batch and expiry tracking
Record stock against its batch and expiry date as it arrives. TailoredFlow warns you while the stock is still sellable rather than after it has turned into a write-off, and you set how far ahead the warning comes. The default for a pharmacy is ninety days.
You can see everything approaching expiry in one list, so slow movers can be discounted or returned while there is still time to do something about it.
Dispense by pill, strip or pack
Buy by the carton, sell by whatever the customer asks for. TailoredFlow keeps the conversion between carton, pack, strip and single unit, so receiving stock and dispensing it are the same item with the count kept straight.
Patients, prescribers and prescriptions
Keep records of patients, the prescribers who wrote for them, and the prescriptions dispensed against them. When a customer returns, their history is on file instead of in a notebook behind the counter.
The counter itself
Search by product name or scan a barcode, take cash, Mobile Money or card, and print the receipt or send it by email or SMS. Every sale updates stock and the day's takings as it happens, so the figure on the screen is the figure on the shelf.

Payments and SMS campaignsTake the payment, not just the order
TailoredFlow can now collect the money at checkout. The customer pays by MTN Mobile Money, Telecel Cash, AirtelTigo Money or card, the sale marks itself paid the moment it lands, and we settle it to your account. No prompt from a personal wallet, no screenshot to squint at, nothing to reconcile at closing. It is optional and off by default. See how payments work.
Sell in sub-units, at the price you set
One product can carry as many selling units as the trade needs, and each one can have its own price rather than a multiple of the smallest. Stock is always counted in the smallest unit, so buying in bulk and selling singles can never drift apart, and the unit-mix report tells you in cedis what your bulk deals actually cost you.
SMS campaigns to your own customers
Message the customer list you have been building at the counter, under your own sender ID, with the exact cost shown before you send. A refill reminder to the people already on a repeat is the cheapest sale in the shop. Credit is prepaid with Mobile Money, so a campaign can never quietly run up a bill. More about SMS campaigns.
Questions

Yes. Stock is recorded against its batch and expiry date, and TailoredFlow alerts you before items expire, ninety days ahead by default for pharmacies, and you can change that. Everything approaching expiry can be viewed as a single list.
Can I sell single tablets if I buy by the carton?
Yes. You set the conversion between carton, pack, strip and single unit once, and TailoredFlow keeps the count correct whichever way stock moves.
